Gentleland.gg is a creative ecosystem for game developers, artists, and studios.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gentleland website, community platforms, courses, and any related services operated by Gentleland, owned by Jaqueline Martin, c/o flexdienst – #11705, Kurt-Schumacher-Straße 76, 67663 Kaiserslautern, Germany (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using any part of Gentleland.gg or its connected services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Scope of Services
Gentleland provides:
- Informational and educational content about game development and creative entrepreneurship;
- Access to community platforms (such as Discord) and live workshops;
- Early access to digital tools and dashboards (e.g., Gentleland Aegis prototype);
- Newsletters and communication managed via Kit (formerly ConvertKit).
All services are offered digitally. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use our services.
By using Gentleland, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
4. Accounts and Community Conduct
a) Account Registration
Some areas (e.g., Gentleland Aegis or Discord) may require an account.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it updated.
b) Community Behaviour
You agree not to:
- Post or distribute illegal, harmful, or harassing content;
- Infringe intellectual-property rights of others;
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or misuse our systems;
- Use Gentleland for commercial spam or self-promotion without consent.
We may suspend or remove accounts violating these rules.
5. Intellectual Property
All materials on Gentleland.gg including text, visuals, videos, course materials, branding, and code are protected by copyright and related rights owned by Jaqueline Martin / Gentleland unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, modify, or redistribute any content without prior written permission.
User-generated content remains owned by its creator, but by posting within Gentleland (e.g., Discord), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and maintain that content within our community spaces.
6. Payments and Subscriptions
Some Gentleland services (such as workshops or premium tools) may be offered for a fee.
Prices, payment methods, and duration will be clearly stated at the point of purchase.
All digital sales follow EU consumer-protection rules.
If a service is delivered immediately after purchase, the 14-day withdrawal right may be waived upon your explicit consent.

7. Third-Party Services
We integrate tools from trusted partners, including:
Kit (ConvertKit), Discord, Google Analytics, YouTube, Supabase, Typeform, Notion, Unity Technologies, and OVH Cloud.
Each partner processes data under its own privacy terms; see our Privacy Policy for details.
We are not responsible for the content or availability of third-party services.
8. Limitation of Liability
We provide Gentleland “as is” without warranties of any kind.
While we strive for accuracy and uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free content.
To the extent permitted by law, Gentleland and its operators shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or services.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gentleland, its owner, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the website, community, or violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to any service without notice if you breach these Terms or engage in harmful activity.
Sections regarding intellectual property, liability, and governing law remain in effect after termination.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany, unless mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements.
The date of the latest revision will always be indicated above.
Continued use of Gentleland.gg after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
